Meaning and use

Numbers describe quantities, prices, ages, and identifiers. Thirteen and thirty are different, so repeat or write a number when it matters. Hundred takes no plural -s after an exact number. Use how many with plural countable nouns and how much with an uncountable amount.

លេខប្រើសម្រាប់ចំនួន តម្លៃ និងអាយុ។ Thirteen គឺ១៣ ហើយ thirty គឺ៣០។ Hundred មិនបន្ថែម s ក្រោយចំនួនជាក់លាក់ទេ។

Common mistakes

Instead of	Use	Why
There are two hundreds students.	There are two hundred students.	Do not pluralise hundred after an exact number.
How much chairs do we need?	How many chairs do we need?	Chairs is countable and plural.
