Meaning and use

A journey is travel from one place to another; a ticket gives access to a service or event. Departure is leaving and arrival is reaching a destination. Say by bus or by train for a transport method, but on foot for walking. Ask about destination, time, and ticket conditions clearly.

Departure ជាការចេញដំណើរ ហើយ arrival ជាការមកដល់។ ប្រើ by bus/by train សម្រាប់មធ្យោបាយធ្វើដំណើរ តែប្រើ on foot សម្រាប់ការដើរ។

Common mistakes

Instead of	Use	Why
We went by foot.	We went on foot.	The fixed expression is on foot.
What time the bus departure? (intended: full question)	What time does the bus depart?	Depart is the verb; departure is a noun.
