How to use wish

To wish to do sth = to want to do sth

      I wish to make much money and acquire a large amount of knowledge.

      I do not wish to worry you.

 To wish sb sth = to hope

      I wish you success in your life. She wishes me good health

 to wish + past simple = you want the situation to be different in the present

     I wish I were taller. She wish she could swim.

 To wish + sb + would = to talk about thing you want to happen 

    I wish you would do your homework. I wish you would not come late.

 To wish + past perfect = to talk about thing which you now regret

    I wish I had studied hard. I wish you had told me the truth.
