Adverb Placement and Scope

What you’ll learn

Show exactly what an adverb modifies.

ដាក់ adverb ឱ្យត្រូវនឹងផ្នែកដែលវាពង្រីក។

Meaning and use

Adverb position can change scope, especially with only, even, and almost. Place a focus adverb close to its intended target when ambiguity matters. Frequency adverbs commonly go before lexical verbs but after be or the first auxiliary. There are stylistic alternatives, so distinguish awkwardness from a true change in meaning.
